Labour Market Transformations and the Future of Families – Final Conference of the ERC Project LABFER
📍 Warsaw, Poland | 📅 25–26 September 2026
The world of work is changing fast—and so are the conditions under which people form families and have children.
Technological change, globalisation, and rising inequalities are reshaping labour markets, career paths, and work–family balance. At the same time, fertility is declining across many advanced economies. How are these trends connected?
Join us in Warsaw for the final conference of the ERC project LABFER – Globalisation and Technology-Driven Labour Market Change and Fertility, bringing together researchers from demography, sociology, economics, and related fields to discuss these pressing questions.
Keynote Speakers
- Elena Stancanelli (Paris School of Economics)
- Yue Qian (University of British Columbia)
