Anna Matysiak

Anna Matysiak is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences University of Warsaw. She is a family demographer and economist with special expertise in the field of family and fertility, labour market, gender, family and employment policies and quality of life.

Anna Wielgopolan

Anna Wielgopolan

Anna Wielgopolan is a project manager, dealing mostly with LabFam administrative issues and dissemination. Her experience encompasses international and national projects based on various financing schemes, focused on research, science communication, training and education, including life-long learning.

RESEARCH TEAM

Anna Kurowska

Anna Kurowska is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw. She is a political scientist and economist with a particular expertise in comparative care regimes, family policy, female employment, gendered division of labour, work-life balance and the capability approach applied to social policy analyses.

Wojciech Hardy

Wojciech is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw. His research interests focus on technological change and labour markets; creative sectors and digitalisation; and gender norms. He is also a member of the DELab UW team.
Ewa Jarosz

Ewa Jarosz

Ewa Jarosz is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences University of Warsaw. She is a sociologist trained in cross-national studies. Her research interests include time use, demographic change, public health and social inequalities.

Beata Osiewalska

Beata Osiewalska is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences University of Warsaw. She is a family demographer and statistician. Her research interests cover the field of family and fertility, childlessness, fertility intentions, and gender (in)equality with particular attention given to socioeconomic conditions of a family.
Lucas van der Velde

Lucas van der Velde

Lucas is an assistant professor at the Warsaw School of Economics. He specializes in labor market inequality using microeconomic tools. He is also interested in automation and its consequences for workers and their families.

Agata Kałamucka

Agata Kałamucka is a Research Assistant at LabFam and a PhD Researcher at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences University of Warsaw. She is an economist whose research interests cover family dynamics, union formation, fertility intentions and family policy as well as flexible working conditions and Work-Life Balance.
Chen Luo

Chen Luo

Chen Luo is a Research Assistant and a PhD Researcher at LABFAM. She is an economist whose research interests cover gender equality, labor market institutions (flexibility of working time, parental leave, and other support to parents), culture and gender norms, and their effects on fertility.
Honorata Bogusz

Honorata Bogusz

Honorata Bogusz is a Research Assistant in LABFAM and a second-year graduate student of Data Science at the Faculty of Economic Sciences University of Warsaw. She is an econometrician, mostly interested in applications of statistical and computational methods in Demography, as well as the role of automation in labor markets, gender equality and fertility behaviors.
Ewa Weychert

Ewa Weychert

Ewa Weychert is a data analyst at LabFam and PhD Researcher at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences University of Warsaw. Her research interests include econometrics, machine learning in text mining, inequality in the labor market, poverty and gender equality.
